Hi there! I’m Mary Freese, the owner and photographer behind Mary Freese Photography, LLC, based in Hillsborough, New Jersey. I’m a wife, proud mom of three wonderful children, and a retired educator who spent many years working with elementary-aged students with special needs. That background taught me patience, creativity, and the importance of genuine connection — all qualities I bring to every photo session.

My love for photography began when I received my first Polaroid Instant Camera as a child. I saved all my money for film and flashbulbs and took pictures of everything around me. That excitement and curiosity are still at the heart of what I do today.

I specialize in newborn, children, and family photography throughout Hillsborough, Somerset County, and throughout New Jersey. Sessions can take place on location or in my home studio. I also enjoy photographing small events, parties, food, pets, and sports portraits.

My goal is to capture authentic, joy-filled moments that reflect your family’s unique story — images you’ll cherish for years to come.
